INTRODUCTION
The Tale of Dreams begins with a group of people stranded by the border control of dreamland. Feeling bored, they start to share dream stories with each other. In one story after another, the anxiety and repressed desires of modern people’s lives morph into fantasy scenes that are sometimes silly and absurd, and other times beautiful and poetic. Furthermore, the enigmatic connection between dream and death in eastern culture adds a touch of the legendary,
both real or fictitious.
